Produced at his own Gordes, Provence studio by Parisian Pierre Chapo (1927-1987) following his signature pairing of modern design with traditional carpentry and craftsmanship. This single drawer table has his signature dovetail joint connecting the legs with the top and also for the drawer facing. A mid-level "I" stretcher supports the structure. France, 1960s.
