Erik Karlström (1917–2005) was a prominent Swedish interior architect and furniture designer who studied under Carl-Axel Acking and Kaare Klint before collaborating over a long career with leading Scandinavian Modernist companies. This pair of post-modern (1980s) armchairs have a generous tub design covered fully in a beautiful reddish brown leather with expert stitching. Solid oakwood frame with visible joinery. Produced c1980 and marked by Källemo in Värnamo, Sweden.
