An exceptional and imposing pair of German Art Nouveau period armchairs. Solid oakwood square frame design with a high back and patterned wood decor to the arms. Shaped back, seat and arms upholstered in a pale blue velvet with contrasting blue corded framing. Original brass caps to all legs. Germany c1915.
