POUL HENNINGSEN
PH 3½-2½ Floor Lamp, 1920s design, Denmark
PH 3½-2½ Floor Lamp, 1920s design, Denmark
The PH 3½-2½ Floor Lamp is part of Poul Henningsen’s three-shade lighting system, originally designed in 1925–26 with the goal of creating glare-free, evenly distributed light. Produced by the pioneering Danish manufacturer Louis Poulsen that helped define modern Scandinavian lighting.
The fixture features handblown white opal glass, glossy on top and sandblasted matte on the underside, for a soft and diffused light distribution directed primarily downward.
High-lustre chrome-plated spun brass and steel complement the shades. The lamp includes a black 12-foot cord with an in-line on/off foot switch and is cULus certified for dry locations.
