Panthella Floor Lamp, 1970s design, Denmark
Designed by Verner Panton in 1971, the Panthella Floor Lamp is known for its distinctive hemispherical shade and soft, glare-free illumination. The white opal acrylic shade reflects light downward while the material ensures the majority of the light is spread diffusely throughout the room.
Produced by the pioneering Danish manufacturer Louis Poulsen, which helped define modern Scandinavian lighting.
The Panthella series remains a signature of Louis Poulsen’s tradition of combining timeless design with beautiful, functional light.
