This pair of nightstands date from the late 1940s to early 1950s, in a transitional neoclassical-modern style that was common across Scandinavia and parts of northern Europe after WWII. The rectangular case has a beautiful walnut and walnut veneer with a contrasting central band and knife-edge trim at the top and bottom. Two drawers have delicate brass ring pulls all over angled dark stained birchwood legs. Sold as a pair.
