One of the leading lights of the Scandinavian modernist movement. Though starting in the late 19th century Copenhagen - the company became an early proponent of industrial scale manufacturing - with an early success in bentwood techniques. The company transformed in the 1950s with its collaboration with Arne Jacobsen. This restrained modernist side or coffee table is constructed in stained beechwood with rounded edges to the top and slightly tapered conical legs. An underlying shelf also provide stability.
