Painter, illustrator, ceramic sculptor and Royal Academy graduate, Knud Kyhn (1880-1969) played a leading role in the design/development of ceramic stoneware pieces for Royal Copenhagen starting in the early 1900s. His "Sung" glaze became the basis for a wide range of exceptional figurines. This larger scale "boy with tiger cub" is #20244 and produced per RC stamp in 1943. Denmark.
