An interesting blend of Arts & Crafts and Nordic Classicism from the Swedish Art Nouveau period, early 1900s. Fully red-painted frames (not likely original color) include a stylized pierced back with a trapezoidal shape divided by three slats. Slightly tapered legs and an arched apron to the seat. Burlap supports underneath and newly updated red upholstery. Sweden, c1915.
