LATE 1960S ARNE NORELL
bent beechwood & leather "Pilot" lounge chair
bent beechwood & leather "Pilot" lounge chair
Not a typical design associated with the celebrated Swedish furniture experimenter Arne Norell (1917-1971). The bent beechwood legs are classic Norell - however his 1967 designed "Pilot" lounge chair presents a cleaner silhouette primarily intended for comfort. Fully upholstered in light cognac leather overall with a tall slightly curved back and a very comfortable fitted seat cushion. Produced by Norell Möbel AB, Sweden 1960s.
