pair "Hunter" leather lounge chairs, Norway
Respected Norwegian designer Torbjørn Afdal (1917-1999) came of age during the golden age of Scandinavian design and produced a number highly curated pieces with a global reach. The "Hunter" chair is probably his best known and most popular - designed from the 19690s as a comfortable safari style chair with a pair of buttoned leather cushion supported by a canvas sling and dark-stained teakwood frame. Beautiful stitched detail. Produced by Bruksbo Tegnekontor in Norway. Sold as a pair.
