Berthold Müller tesserae tile & walnut coffee table
Berthold Müller-Oerlinghausen (1893–1979), was a German sculptor, ceramic artist, and professor associated with the postwar German arts movement. This striking coffee table is transformed by thousands of black mosaic tesserae tiles arranged in a dynamic composition over a shaped walnut base. Geometric brass tiles intersect in lines across the top.
