Ettore Sottsass (1917–2007) was a multitalented and influential designer who worked across furniture, architecture, ceramics, glass and industrial design. Founder of the Memphis Group in 1981 to pioneer Italian radical design. This low 31" square coffee table is constructed with a solid mahogany square post frame supporting a post-modern wood grill and glass top. Attributed to Sottsass and possibly produced by Santambrogio e De Berti, Lissone Italy.
