An unusually sculptural Italian Art Deco console dating to circa 1940, formed with broad figured-walnut sides that curve continuously into the top to create a dramatic waterfall profile. A large inset mirrored surface is framed in contrasting walnut veneer, with two discreet drawers suspended beneath and finished with simple cylindrical wooden pulls. Rather luxurious silhouette. Italy c1940-1945.
