Produced in Norway during the 1970s, this lounge chair reflects a shift in Scandinavian design toward a more relaxed, immersive kind of comfort. Attributed to Berg, the piece pairs a sculptural wood frame with deeply cushioned, tufted brown leather—balancing structure with softness.  The chair can swivel, rock and recline, also can be locked into a tilted angle.  Beautiful baseball glove stitching.  Similar ottoman by Ingmar Relling.  Produced by Berg, Norway c1975-1980
