1970 PIERRE CHAPO
Model S24 elmwood and leather side chair
Model S24 elmwood and leather side chair
Originally trained as an architect in Paris - Pierre Chapo (1927-1987) created his own Gordes based workshop in Provence and established a distinct modern interpretation of rural craft. His S24 chair follows the S11 example from the 60s using solid elmwood construction with a square form joined with interlocking rails and allen screws. Beautiful patina to the cognac leather seating and nicely curved back for comfort. Attributed to Chapo and produced from the 1960s to early 1980s. Sold individually.
