A pair of perfectly proportioned cylindrical nightstand richly veneered in figured walnut burl that capture the elegance of late Art Deco as it transitioned towards Moderne. Each cabinet features a curved upper drawer above an open display shelf and a lower curved cabinet, all wrapped in continuous burl veneer that celebrates the natural beauty of the wood. Honey-colored Catalin pulls and a stepped circular plinth complete the streamlined silhouette. Probably a Czech or Eastern European - though quality also speaks to an Austrian production. Sold as a pair.
