An iconic AX lounge chair designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen in 1950 for Fritz Hansen, combining sculptural Danish Modern design with an innovative approach to efficient industrial furniture production. It has a distinctive frame in molded & laminated beechwood with a contrasting teak inlay to the side legs. This version is later production using a red skai leather for the seat and seat back.
