1930S SWEDISH GRACE
flame birch & rosewood 27" pedestal table
flame birch & rosewood 27" pedestal table
A very nice example of Swedish Art Deco that connects with later Functionalist designs from around 1930s. The top has a beautiful and bright flame birch veneer that is contrasted with perfectly selected rosewood trim. Very restrained in appearance with a lower thin disk supported by a cylindrical central column and a broad disk-form base raised slightly on small feet. Just gorgeous.
