The 1970s brought a range of new expressive designs - with Italy embracing the Riviera Chic and Hollywood Regency styles and becoming a major producer of high-end bamboo furniture. This large chest of drawers combines textured layering of materials including vertical stacked bamboo for the sides and overall case trim, woven grasscloth to the drawers fronts with integrated brass pulls - and topped in a beautiful milk glass top. Likely Northern Italian manufacture - 1970s.
