It is the classic modernist safari structure that continues to steel the show even today. Arne Norell's (1917-1971) Ilona chair and sofa was designed in 1971 and still manufactured in the same Sweden factory in Aneby. Taking clues from the Indian Roorkhee Chairs used by the British military - this 3-seat sofa is constructed with dowels, leather and solid ashwood connected with buckled leather strapping. Beautiful and rare green leather cushions and green saddle leather slings - with one left side arm . Manufactured by Norell Møbler, Sweden.
