Neo-Modernist "Streamline" leather lounge chair
Neo-Modernist "Streamline" leather lounge chair
The "Streamline" chair by Klaus Wettergren (Swedish, b. 1961) revisits the machine-age aesthetic of 1930s Art Deco and Bauhaus tubular furniture. Its most striking feature is the twin circular chromed tubular steel hoops that define the structure with carved walnut side panels anchor the chrome frame. Upholstered in expertly stitched natural leather. Part seating, part sculpture. Produced in Sweden by Q-Productions.
