1980S PIERRE PAULIN
little Tulip chair in cream bouclé, Artifort
little Tulip chair in cream bouclé, Artifort
He was a revolutionary designer and a true artist, Pierre Paulin (1927-2009) brought to life a line of uniquely beautiful pieces for the innovative Dutch firm Artifort. Created using organic shapes and brightly covered stretch fabrics - his furniture was a global success. The popular Tulip chair was designed in 1965 to have a sculpted open seat and shaped back that swivels on a steel stem and circular floor plate. Still made today by Artifort in The Netherlands. This vintage pair from the 1980s has new cream bouclé upholstery. Priced individually, two available.
