"Grip" reading floor lamp, Italy
"Grip" reading floor lamp, Italy
Achille Castiglioni (1918–2002) was an iconic Italian industrial designer known for his innovative and playful approach to design, particularly in lighting. The "Grip" lamp was designed for reading with an angled pale green enameled metal stem and raised circular base. The incandescent bulb is presented in a stylized and articulating microphone shape - connected to the base by a pair of pink and teal blue rings. Wonderful design. Produced by Flor, Milan Italy.
