pair of tubular metal & green wool armchairs
Knud Friis (1926–2010) and Elmar Moltke Nielsen (1927–1997) were a Danish duo known for their contributions to modernist architecture and interior design. This pair of armchairs continues the modernist tradition using a single red-painted tubular metal rod that carried from the legs to arms and back again. A metal mesh for the back support. Striking green wool upholstery fabric to the loose cushions and buttoned back. Denmark, 1977.
