Interior architect Yrjö Kukkapuro is one of Finland’s most influential postwar designers, known for redefining modern seating through a lens of ergonomics, experimentation, and human-centered comfort. He designed for how people actually sit, lounge, recline, and inhabit rooms. The Ateljee lounge chairs have a low profile framed in a beautiful golden birch panels over four slim steel legs and covered with gorgeous orange leather loose cushions including side cushions that wrap over the arms. Produced by progressive furniture manufacture HAIMI Oy based in Helsinki. Sold individually, one available.
