brown leather "Hunter" lounge chair + ottoman
brown leather "Hunter" lounge chair + ottoman
Respected Norwegian designer Torbjørn Afdal (1917-1999) came of age during the golden age of Scandinavian design and produced a number highly curated pieces with a global reach. The "Hunter" chair is probably his best known and most popular - designed from the 1960s as a comfortable safari style chair with a pair of buttoned leather cushion supported by a canvas sling and dark-stained oakwood frame. Beautiful stitched detail. This high-back version in a dark brown leather with original matching ottoman. Produced by Bruksbo Tegnekontor in Norway.
