solid pinewood 2-seat sofa, style of Yngve Ekström
Yngve Ekström (1913–1988) was a renowned Swedish furniture designer, architect, and co-founder of Swedese Möbler AB. Among his notable designs is the "Kontra" series of chairs, sofas and tables, introduced in 1969. This 2-seat sofa exemplifies the commitment to functionalism and minimalist aesthetics, featuring a solid pinewood frame and plush, removable cushions in original striped upholstery for both comfort and practicality. Not clear if by Swedese - so "in the style of" Ekström.
