Less known than their mid-century Scandinavian contemporaries - the Norwegian based Søda Galvano furniture company some beautifully sculpted pieces that remain timeless. This 3-seat sofa has a beautifully carved solid ashwood frame tilted slightly over "sled' legs and slatted back. Six loose cushions in light cognac leather that is quartered and trimmed with a double exposed seam. Comfortable leather arms are newer. Norway, 1970s.
