Celebrated Norwegian designer Sigurd Ressell (1920-2010) created a number of memorable mid-century furniture pieces - none more famous than his series of "Falcon" chairs. Originally designed in 1970 as a prototype hammock armchair called "Blank Vals" - was produced starting in 1971 by Vatne Møbler in Norway. This classic version in a beautiful light brown leather with canvas sling support and rosewood-finished bent plywood frame.
