Haslev Møbelsnedkeri, founded in 1920s traditional wood craftsmanship - found exceptional growth in the Scandinavian modernist movement - particularly their collaborating with designer Severin Hansen and ceramics powerhouse Royal Copenhagen. This later coffee table has a radial inlay of natural slate tiles, forming a sunburst or starburst pattern - over a classic bent beechwood frame. Denmark.
