Born into a Tuscan artistic workshop family Giovanni Michelucci (1891-1990) went on to an exceptional and long life of architecture, design and urban planning. This pair of benches from the late 60s or early 70s uses a walnut with very select grain pattern and coloration to create a vibrant contrast of light. Overlapping square-form shape to the fronts with a full-size drawer to each. Produced in Italy - probably by Poltronova. Priced for the pair.
