In the 17th century French court - only certain preferred nobles were allowed to sit in the presence of royalty - a small wooden tabouret stool was provided. Comforting. This stool is constructed in solid pinewood with beautiful tapered and angles legs connected to a pair of shaped seat supports. The top in two separated pieces is shaped for comfort with a central cut-out decor. A surprising design feature is the eight visible and recessed nails that form a circle around the top. Rather unique.

    Sold individually, one available.
