Cantilevered oak & canvas dining set, CADO
Architects Ditte Heath (b. 1924) and Adrian Heath (1923–1992) were a Danish husband-and-wife design team who brought a modernist, problem-solving approach to domestic interiors. This dining set design began in the 1960s under Danish manufacturer France & Søn and displayed a unique cantilevered frame with solid oak construction covered in a green striped canvas stretched vertically to the seat and back. Original matching dining table to the set of four chairs. This is from the later 1970s production after France & Søn was acquired by Cado. Model 594. Denmark.
Sold as a set.
