1970S DE SEDE
Model DS 14 blue aniline leather 6-section sofa
Model DS 14 blue aniline leather 6-section sofa
The DS-14 is one of de Sede’s most important early modular seating systems, developed in the late 1960s and produced through the 1970s and represents de Sede’s transition from traditional Swiss saddlery craftsmanship into radical comfort-driven modernism. Unlike earlier sectional sofas that read as assembled parts, the DS-14 was designed to feel continuous and architectural, almost like a built-in banquette—ideal for open-plan living. This version in classic low grounding with six generous sections including two end seats and a corner section. Softly padded in a rare blue aniline leather. Switzerland
