"Bogo" modular 7-part leather sofa, Italy
Renowned Milanese born Carlo Bartoli (1931–2020) is celebrated for his contribution to architecture, furniture and industrial design - receiving the Compasso d'Oro award in 2008. This sectional sofa is Model "Bogo" from the Safari 2 Line that he created in the 1970s. Constructed in padded panels of light leather that wrap from the back to the seat like a duvet cover. The base is a contrasting medium brown suede stitched in panels over a steel/plastic skeleton. A wonderfully comfortable large-scale and versatile sofa with seven modules including a pair of open end seats. Created for Rossi d'Albizzate and Borbonese and produced by Redwell in Italy 1970s.
Each width is 33.9" or 37.4" for corner and long section.
