This stool sits within the Brazilian modern rustic movement of the 1960s–70s, driven by designers such as Sérgio Rodrigues, Jean Gillon and Percival Lafer. Solid square legs construction using locally sourced jatobá or peroba wood supported by lower stretchers. Topped with woven thick natural leathers straps with hand scalloped edges -and connected to the base with large iron rivets. All topped with a brown leather cushion. Tropical beauty.
