At the age of 37 Arne Norell (1917–1971) opened his design workshop (Norell Möbel AB) and was a master at blending Scandinavian modernism with British colonial safari and campaign furniture influences. His classic design continue to be produced today. His "Inca" model was introduced in 1960 with a solid wood frame (often rosewood, teak, or beech stained dark), thick vegetable-tanned leather cushions, and saddle leather strapping. This pair in beautiful medium brown leather in good condition - including one matching ottoman and rare rosewood detachable center shelf. Sweden.
