beechwood & boucle armchairs, Czech
One of the refreshing post-war designers that continued in the modernist tradition in Czechoslovakia from the 1960s and 1970s - winning the gold prize at Expo 67 in Montreal. This pair of armchairs with bent beechwood construction has a lightness to the design with an open structure and tall backs. Newly updated with cream boucle upholstery. Probably produced by Tatra Nábytok 1960s-1970s Czech.
