solid pinewood plank coffee table/bench
solid pinewood plank coffee table/bench
Roland Wilhelmsson (1928–2017) was a Swedish designer and cabinetmaker known for its "brutalist geometry" applied to warm, tactile materials. A classic example is this solid pinewood bench that is also a perfect dimension for a coffee table. Pinewood planks are connected using a technique he called "Dymling" - or internal joinery with dowels that enhances strength. Produced at his studio in Ågesta, Sweden, 1970s.
