19" daim. footed concrete planter, Switzerland
After opening his first design studio in 1939 at the age of 24, Swiss-born Willy Guhl (1915-2004) went on to become a leading industrial inventor, educator and furniture designer. He is best known for the extensive line of weather resistant outdoor pieces produced using a strong yet flexible "fibre cement" he created in collaboration with Eternit AG in Niederurnen Switzerland. This medium sized round three-footed planter has nice patina (one small foot chip). We have two available.
