beechwood "Trega" lounge chair, w/hide cushion
beechwood "Trega" lounge chair, w/hide cushion
The "Trega" was created in the 1950s by Norwegian designer Tormod Alnaes in response to the growing Scandinavian Modernist movement. Constructed as a stitched natural sling that connects to a shaped four-post solid beechwood frame via leather strapping. The original leather wrap cushion has been replaced with a single light-skin hide seat cushion. Produced by Sørlie Møbler in Norway, later 1960s production.
