1960S MAISON REGAIN
oak & leather Provençal brutalist 2-seat sofa
oak & leather Provençal brutalist 2-seat sofa
This sofa is a very strong, very characteristic example of Maison Regain’s work in the the late 1960s, and it sits right at the point where French postwar modernism tips into what we now call “French brutalist” furniture. Thick solid oak used for the framing with scoop sides and open rail back. A pair of fitted light aniline leather seating in cognac wrap over the arms - very comfortable seating. France.
