1960S ITALIAN
custom modernist corner cabinet in oak & rosewood
custom modernist corner cabinet in oak & rosewood
This is a high-concept, architectonic Italian corner cabinet from the late 1960s to very early 1970s, built around the interplay of geometric negative space and contrasting woods - likely a custom piece created by Milanese or Lombardy workshops. It has a unique floating architectural design with two opposing square frames in oakwood that wrap around at 90 degree angels at both sides. Three "floating" cabinets have a simple square visual with a gorgeous rosewood veneer chosen in direct contrast to the case. Exceptional.
