1960S ITALIAN
classic 45" slatted bench over ebonized frame
classic 45" slatted bench over ebonized frame
Often considered to have earlier industrial origins - the evolution places this simple and functional design squarely in the modernist home. Aalto, Prouvé and George Nelson all created benches that mixed wood slats with metal. This version from the 1960s has a classic lightly stained hardwood slatted top with an Italian flair of ebonized legs and angled support stretcher. Adjustable metal legs adds flexibility. Sold individually, pair available.
