solid walnut 73" "Torbecchia" bench for Poltranova
Italian architect Giovanni Michelucci (1891–1990) was best known for his work on churches, civic buildings, and social housing. His philosophy emphasized humanism in design — functionality combined with expressive material use. He created a series of benches, tables and chairs and named the line for Poltronova founder Sergio Cami's villa "Torbecchia" in Tuscany. This 73" bench is constructed in solid walnut with angled legs and central stretcher. Produced starting in 1965 by Poltronova, Italy.
