This set of six chairs were designed by Prof. Georg Leowald (1908–1969)—a German architect trained in the modernist tradition and later a professor of interior and furniture design. Classic frames in solid teakwood with spare modernist lines and curved seat backs. Tapered legs include visible joinery to the front and beautiful stitched cognac leatherette seating. Produced by German furniture manufacturer, Wilkhahn in Bad Münder, 1960s.
