1960S FRATELLI REGUITTI
children's desk & matching chair, Italy
children's desk & matching chair, Italy
The mid-century Italian furniture company, Fratelli Reguitti, made a wide range of products. They successfully differentiated their offering with emphasis on pieces with folding mechanisms for functionalist and space saving such as collapsible tables, magazine racks, and valet stands. This children's desk from 1960s is simple and practical with a folding top and side slatted book holder. An unstained maplewood frame is offset by the green leatherette top and black lacquered accents. Matching original chair. Produced at the Fratelli Reguitti factory in the small town of Agnosine near Brescia Italy.
