Originally a sawmill with proximity to the abundant Langesø forest - the Farstrup company expanded to furniture manufacturing and contributed significantly to the Scandinavian modernist design movement. This chair is classic with a simple solid beechwood frame slightly angled for comfort. Oviod seat backs in teakwood with four visible joints to create a wonderful organic visual. Black Skai leather upholstery in good condition. Set of six. Produced by Farstrup, Denmark 1960s as Model 210.
