Italian sculptor Elvio Becheroni (1934-2000) primary worked in metals displaying a interest in quirky organic forms. This table lamp is attributed to his work and has a beautiful modern sensibility. Three carved ashwood long blocks are connected at the ends by metal pins allowing the pieces to fold into each other. The cord is threaded thru the primary stem to a two-prong light hidden into the top block. 1960s, Italy.
